Bintell-Roofing-Binder (BRB)

The properties for binders used in roll roofing materials are very specific. Bitumen used in roofing materials are modified with significant amounts of polymers such as APP and SBS.

Bintell designed and built a pilot unit for making this kind of bitumen from organic residual flows. The unit is able to make a wide range of different types of Bintell-Roofing-Binder materials which will be tested by a roofing materials manufacturer who is partnering with Bintell. The results so far are very promising.
